Apple’s in-app payments technique hits antitrust roadblock in India, says report

Apple has located itself in the middle of an antitrust challenge for alleged abuse of its dominant market place position in India, Reuters reported citing a supply and documents. The antitrust case alleges that Apple forces app developers to use its in-app buy technique and requires a hefty reduce in return.

Apple is facing a related challenge in the European Union. Last year, EU regulators started a probe into Apple charging a 30-per cent in-app charge to distribute paid digital content.
